I bought this Onkyo TX-NR809 unit to replace an 11 year old DS787 and it is even better than I expected. I was able to eliminate a lot of composite, audio and AV cables to really clean up the setup. Now my wife doesn’t have to figure out when to change the TV input to match a selected AV output. Plus setup is infinitely easier with HDMI. And the 6 speaker system sounds awesome in both movies and music with the quick setup using the included microphone. I can’t wait to hear how it sounds when I take the time to do the longer multiple position speaker adjustment. . Read more reviews here…
